Seductive Lingerie and Pussycat Dolls
Robin Antin, a famous American dance choreographer and entrepreneur, founded the dance group Pussycat Dolls, which became an R’n’B band in 2003. Now she has designed a collection of lingerie and exhibited it at the Los Angeles Fashion Week. The Pussycat Dolls performed during the review.
The lingerie pieces were very sexy and similar to the provocative style the Pussycat Dolls have during their performances.
Vintage underwear
The collection mainly features pieces with low waist and wide rim which recall vintage underwear like those once worn by the pin-up girls. They come together with bras or undershirts.
Beautiful and seductive female lingerie are sometimes in contrast with black Dr Martens boots with black thigh-highs. These black thigh-highs are often combined with underwear even without boots and some models wore bound them to underwear with straps. This combination make the models look as if they are wearing halters. Apart from underwear in seductive black and red, the collection also featured dirty white and grey tones. When we talk about sexy-romantic combination, we have to mention a high presence of bows. Bows found their place in the middle of bras, on rims and even on the back part of thongs. The catwalks presented monochromatic pieces, some others had big letters written on them, and always accepted leopard pattern creations – in this occasion, completed with glaring pink and blue colours.
For lighter moments, which do not necessary imply seduction, the collection features pieces with horizontal navy stripes. If you need something to wear inside your house, then you have undershirts with a mini hooded training suit on top, and it looks like a sportive bolero. The designer played with the models who wore double underwear – mini triangular ones beneath those with low waist and large rim.
