Country sensation LeAnn Rimes proudly reveals the fitness secrets that gave her this amazing beautiful bikini body.
LeAnn insists she went through periods where she was depressed at putting on weight and “getting really sick” because of life on the road. But she shows off the results of what Fitness magazine in the U.S. calls her “sexy-body workout”.
LeAnn credits meeting husband Dean - not to mention working out with him - as being the “real turning point” in getting back into bikini body shape. “He gives me emotional stability,” she said, adding: “It’s also fun to exercise with a partner - we both push each other to be better.”
She said her new exercise kick also encouraged her to improve her diet. “I was working out so hard I didn’t want to ruin it by eating crap,” she explained. “Dean cooks. We eat organic, even when on the road.”
LeAnn says she had always been active - until she found fame and went on the road. “I mean, what is there to do when you’re on tour?” she asked. “I basically ate and sat on the bus.
“For me it was a really lonely experience, and I turned to food at times because had nowhere else to get that love.”
She insists: “I was getting out of breath in the middle of the show - and sometimes I was getting really sick.”
Now she says she has realized that is her downfall - and she goes out of her way not to let it keep getting in the way. “In every city I go to on tour, I research a gym or a place to go running,” she said. “I take a jump rope with me for cardio. It burns an enormous number of calories. I’m like Rocky!
“I do weights, followed by five minutes of cardio, another circuit of weights, another five minutes of cardio, and so on.
“For abs, I do crunches while sitting on a Bosu ball.”
She added: “My goal is to be a classy, healthy woman.
“For so long I wanted to be sexier, or whatever, but I’ve finally found who I really want to be.”
